Ethical codex

The Journal follows the highest ethical and professional standards. This includes zero tolerance to plagiarism and other unacceptable forms of behavior within the academic community. Service iThenticate will be used for checking if the submitted papers are plagiaries i.e. if the rules of consistent citation and separating personal judgments and conclusions from the others were respected.

The following procedures will be treated as plagiaries: :

  • Falsifying research results, their fabricating and representing as real
  • Manipulating with research procedures, intentional change or omitting data
  • Seizing other people’s results, attitudes or opinions as own without mentioning sources they were taken from
  • Misusing research subjects or materials, trying to hush up possible violation of ethical guidelines, false representation of interests, confidentiality violation
  • Already published papers or parts of papers

Only unpublished manuscripts are accepted. Manuscripts may not be submitted for peer review in other journals at the same time. Acceptance of classified papers for publication binds the author not to publish the same paper somewhere else without the permission of the Editorial Board of the Journal.

The process of selecting the reviewers is carried out by the Editorial Board and reviewers are selected from among scientists, professors and experts closely involved in the issues addressed in the paper submitted for the peer review. Authors of the paper may recommend reviewers, but this does not oblige the Editorial Board to accept such a recommendation.

In the event of any misconduct revelation, either upon receipt of the paper, during the peer-review process, after the peer-review process or after publication of the paper, the Editorial Board will follow the COPE guidelines in dealing with such actions. More on this can be found at the following link: https://publicationethics.org/guidance/Guidelines

In the case of complaints by authors, either on rejection of papers, classification of papers or any other procedure in the process of receiving, peer review and publishing papers, the Editor-in-Chief will submit these complaints to the Editorial Board of the Journal, who will decide on the further action.
